BrewDog Debuts in Philadelphia

Since 2007, BrewDog has been on a mission to help others share in their passion for great craft beer, now they’re bringing that passion to Philadelphia.

Launching April 16th, craft beer fans in the Delaware Valley will get a chance to sample their full headliner range beginning with their scene-stealing flagship beer – Punk IPA – the beer that began a revolution, to the full frontal citrus overload that is Elvis Juice, a grapefruit infused IPA. Rounding out the beer lineup is Hazy Jane, a juicy, unfiltered New England style IPA.

More details on the beers here:

BrewDog Punk IPA – This trans-Atlantic fusion IPA is light golden in color, with tropical fruits and light caramel on the nose. The palate soon becomes assertive and resinous with the New Zealand hops balanced by the biscuit malt. The finish is aggressive and dry with the hops emerging over the warming alcohol. This fresh, full flavor, natural beer is a tribute to the classic IPAs of yester-year. The postmodern twist is the addition of amazing, fruity hops giving an explosion of tropical fruit flavors and a sharp, bitter finish. ABV: 5.6%

BrewDog Hazy Jane – Hazy Jane is a Vermont-style IPA with low background bitterness, loaded with intense, juicy fruit character. Pineapple, stone fruit, mango, light resin and hints of lime peel – this juicy IPA is low in bitterness and smooth, enhancing the soft ripe fruit flavors. ABV: 7.2%

BrewDog Elvis Juice – An American IPA with a bitter edge that will push your citrus tolerance to the brink and back, Elvis Juice is loaded with tart, pithy grapefruit peel. This IPA has a caramel malt base, supporting a full frontal citrus overload – grapefruit peel piled on top of intense U.S. aroma hops. Waves of crashing pine, orange and grapefruit round out this citrus infused IPA. ABV: 6.5%
