Cape May’s Brandon Greenwood on Brewing Beer During Unprecedented Times

VP of Brewery Operations, Brandon Greenwood

The current COVID-19 shutdown has affected all aspects of the beverage alcohol business. For Cape May Brewing Co. safely adapting the way they do business during this time of uncertainty was a team effort. Origlio sat down with CMBC’s Vice President of Brewery Operations, Brandon Greenwood, to learn about how their supply chain and brewing procedures have shifted since March.

In this interactive interview, click the audio links below to hear Brandon’s answers.

Can you briefly tell us how your supply chain works in normal circumstances and how that was initially upended by the shutdown?

Can you talk about how you and your team initially tackled out of stocks, and how your process has adjusted since?

Can you talk about some unexpected difficulties that have occurred, such a national shortage on cans and how you were able to adjust?

How is the outlook moving forward? What needs to change to get things a little more normal? Are there some things you don’t perceive changing back to normal?
