Jim Koch to Host First Ever In-Flight Beer Tasting

This year’s trip to the Great American Beer Festival just got a little better. Samuel Adams’ own Jim Koch is planning on hosting the first ever in-flight beer tasting on his way to this year’s GABF on a Jet Blue flight from New York to Denver.

Word on the street is that Koch will be sampling Sam Adams Octoberfest as well as two other surprise beers, one of which will be “an extreme beer coveted by beer geeks.” (Utopias appearance?)

Alas, the flight is already sold out, but hopefully this will lead to many more in-flight beer flights.
