Oktoberfests and pumpkin beers will soon be lining store shelves and taking over tap lines, but let’s not forget the great seasonal offerings available now that are sure to tempt your taste buds, while the weather is still warm.
Dock Street Man Full of Trouble
Porter – 5.2%
Man Full of Trouble is a London-style porter that hits all of the classic notes the style has to offer. Dock Street brewed this beer with “Old-World” in mind. Black and chocolate malts are used to give it a dark color and a creamy, espresso-like flavor. This beer is so good that it took home a bronze medal at the 2017 Great American Beer Festival!
Sam Adams Kosmic Sour
Sour – 4.6%
Sam Adam’s Kosmic Sour was created from the brewery’s Kosmic Mother Funk Wild Ale, which was fermented and aged for two-years. At only 4.6% ABV and 11 IBUs, this sour is light and easy-drinking, with the perfect balance of tartness and fruitiness. Kosmic Sour is an approachable beer for anyone new to the sour category, but will also delight those who enjoy the style.
Sixpoint Puff Puff
Double IPA – 9.8%
You might be familiar with Sixpoint Puff – a hazy, unfiltered pour, straight from the tanks, with an extra dose of dry hops. Puff Puff ups the ante and is an absolute haze bomb. Sixpoint upped the hopping rate and tweaked the hop blend a bit to create a juicy, tropical brew with a wild aroma and the brewery’s signature dankness.
