Put on your fancy hat, place a bet on your favorite horse, and get ready to drink some mint juleps! A bunch of bars will be throwing Kentucky Derby parties this Saturday and we’ve got some recommendations.

Twisted Tail’s Derby Party: This free to attend party will show the race on a massive outside TV and be offering mint julep’s for $6. Twisted Tail has a Derby Draw where you can guess the winning horse for the chance to win a bottle of bourbon. The bar will also be giving away prizes for the best hat and best bow tie, so put on your Derby Best and have a blast! The event runs from 2-7 PM. For full event info head over to Twisted Tail’s website.

West Laurel Hill Cemetary: 2019 will mark the seventh year that the West Laurel Hill Cemetery’s Kentucky Derby party has taken place. For $75 you’ll get all you can eat and drink, access to a cigar lounge, and the chance to take a horse-drawn carriage ride. This party will also have its own fashion contest, so be prepared. Guests are provided with champagne upon entry as well as a fashion illustration. Find tickets and event info here.

Blue Moon’s Derby Watch Party: Head over to Xfinity Live! to attend the Blue Moon watch party that begins at 4 PM. Blue Moon is the official craft beer sponsor of the Kentucky Derby this year and they are ready to celebrate. The event is free to attend but should be a big party with plenty of good bars to hang out at within Xfinity Live!
