Located in a repurposed firehouse in West Philadelphia, Dock Street Brewery – the City of Brotherly Love’s first craft brewery – has opened a second location in Point Breeze at Washington Avenue & 22nd Street. The new facility nearly quadruples their brewing capacity. It features a large tap room that’s a nod to German beer halls and a coffee bar that sells bagels and scones. While the West Philly location is famous for its wood-fired, oven baked pizza, the restaurant in the Point Breeze facility offers a completely new experience, with dishes curated by Philip Breen, a Starr Restaurants alum. The menu is a riff on contemporary Mediterranean cuisine. This modern-industrial space has amazing views of the Philadelphia skyline.
